Underground Storage Tank Location and Removal:
An underground storage tank (UST) is a vessel, usually steel or fiberglass, that serves to hold hazardous liquids such as fuels, solvents, or wastes with at least 10% of the tank below grade. The removal or abandonment of an UST is a complex series of construction, demolition, hazardous waste removal, and environmental sampling tasks that require intensive environmental regulation and oversight. APES professionals have extensive experience in UST location, assessment, closure in place, and removal activities. The APES team has worked with regulatory agencies all over California and only uses fully licensed and experienced hazardous waste contractors for all UST removal and closure activities.
